My Friends Are Dead
A narrative piece, rather than something so pedestrian as a mere "deck"; this deck tells a tale of struggle, anguish, and unwanted solitude that reflects the very core of modern living as we know it today.
Our story begins with a mere Caterpie, which is the lone Pokemon in this deck and must enter this world alone. But, alas, Caterpie does not wish to be alone, and so it cries out for companionship. But companionship does not come. It resorts to using items of personal wealth and professional help to bring an end to its loneliness and alleviate its pain, but this only brings sorrow, as the memories of friends once here and now gone forever are the only things to heed the poor, misbegotten Caterpie's cries. In its sorrow, the Caterpie is not even able to grow and flourish as it was meant to, instead resigning to its ultimate fate to meet its end within a cruel world, only to be succeeded by the memories that so haunted it. Memories that soon disappear as well, discarded by the unfeeling and uncaring world to bring a final end to the memory of this poor, lonely Caterpie. May he at last find peace in his final rest.
